What Christina Means |
You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily. You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind. A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable. You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out. Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia. Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong. You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know. You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do. You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless - and you have a lot of questions about life. You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You're most comfortable when you're far away from home. You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble. You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. |

Just For Fun!
I just love these stupid quizzes. I'm sure they are very generic in their ratings and probably really only say mostly good things much like fortune cookies. Never had a cookie tell me I was bad or going to have a rotten day! Ithought it was cute though so here you go, what does your name mean?:

Time Flies!
I can't believe it has been over a month since my last post. Sorry about that! I had no idea time was flying that fast.
Let's see....we had a huge snowstorm about 2 weeks ago on Friday. I haven't seen that much snow since '77 & '78 and those were called blizzards. Here are a few photos taken the next day. The one is the front yard and the other is the backyard. It doesn't look as bad as what it really was, we had 20" of snow along with 25mph winds that drifted it everywhere. So now I've had my fill of winter, spring can show up anytime!!

That's all for now. I will try to be better about stopping in here.

I Am SO MAD! GRRRR!
I got a call at 9:05am yesterday morning from the local police dept. Let me tell you if you want to be immedately awake have the police call and ask for you by name!! :0 I timidly said yes I am. He then goes on to tell me that our other house had been broken into sometime around 1am and then someone needed to go and file a report.
Thank-God there isn't too much damage. They went in after the copper and cut a 30' water line out. Not sure what spooked them but they had 1/2 of the electric box powered down and ready to strip the wiring but didn't get that far. They broke a window, took the 30' of copper pipe, and stole the apartment sized frig. They caused about $400 in damage for about $80 worth of stuff. No one ever accused criminals of being smart!
Today I'd like to take a piece of that copper pipe they stole and beat them about the head really good! GGGRRRRR!!! I just don't get why criminals will work 10x as hard as they would at a job for such a little bit of reward and chance their freedom? From what the police said they think these guys are responsible for a lot of the break-ins lately with the same type of copper thefts. For $80 they are probably looking at 5 years or more in the custody of the state of Ohio.
Oh yeah, they got caught and they have all of our stuff inpounded for now. I guess one of them tried to run and ended up running right into the front of another crusier and got his foot hit. I don't think they like them too much because they said something about them "trashing a cruiser" going after them? I'm sure they are the favorite inmates at the city jail! ;)

August 28, 1963

I heard someone talking about this speech this morning and it reminded me that I saw it too. I was very young mind you but I do remember it. My Dad always made a point of me watching the news from the time I was old enough to understand. I remember lots of things that I really shouldn't but since he took the time to explain and made a big deal out of things I do remember. I would've been 2 yo on the day this speech was given almost 3. Sitting on the floor in front of that 20" black and white TV asking every question in the world like most kids do.
Time....
Too long since I've stopped by. Time just goes by. Here it is 2008 already, YIKES! I remember thinking when I was about 14 how old I'd be in 2000!!!! I'd be really old then. LOL Now I think about how young I was then. I've come to the conclusion that age is just a number and if you can sneak by all of the mirrors you just won't notice! I have 28 stuck in my head, it is always what I want to say without thinking. Gosh where did all of the time go?

I Put the Pro in Procrastinate!
I bought myself inventory software. What a wonderful idea! YIPPEE no more buying the same thread twice. I loaded it on to the computer, it' really neat. You can even input the location! WOW!! I'm so excited. I will be able to look it up and then go and find it without searching for hours! :D
Then I look and see that there are about 12 large drawers of thread....let's see only about 500+ spools/cones that all need to be entered into the software. :(
What's that saying? The road to hell is paved with good intentions? Yeah that's it!
The good news is the house should really sparkle soon since I'm doing everything else in the world rather than start entering numbers.:) I ever cooked butternut squash last night for pies for Thanksgiving.
Yep *someday* they will all be entered!

Hello!

Rudy and Coopurr

Coopurr

Hi everyone! I'm still alive and fine. I miss this place terribly even though I have no idea what to write....? I know what I wsh I could tell you all about but since it isn't exactly my story and isn't quite settled yet I can't. Someday I promise I will have an interesting tale to tell. :)
Not any changes here, life is still the same for me, which is good no complaints! I now have a shinny grey MacBookPro that I love. A new camera which has way too many buttons and I hate instruction books, Thank-God it can act like a point and shoot! Of course, now my cats hide as soon as they hear the ZZZZZZ sound it makes when it comes on. LOL I'll share a few of my photos I took during the summer.
Well, that is all for now! See ya all soon!
