August 28, 1963

I heard someone talking about this speech this morning and it reminded me that I saw it too. I was very young mind you but I do remember it. My Dad always made a point of me watching the news from the time I was old enough to understand. I remember lots of things that I really shouldn't but since he took the time to explain and made a big deal out of things I do remember. I would've been 2 yo on the day this speech was given almost 3. Sitting on the floor in front of that 20" black and white TV asking every question in the world like most kids do.

Without a doubt it's the one he's the most remembered for. It's always inspired me.

MLK was one of the most stirring men of all time, whose legacy and vision will always live on years and years from now.

So wonderful to read you Christina, I have truly missed you :) Just sent you an email too. How are you guys handling all the snow in Ohio? Or is it all gone by now?
